Cell Culture Technician to Minerva Imaging

Minerva Imaging is seeking a skilled and motivated cell culture technician to join our team. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and contributing to our high experimental standards. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in cell culture, be proactive, and demonstrate a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. You will be involved in the following tasks:
- Maintenance, cryopreservation, and cataloging of various cell lines.
- Maintenance of cell culture equipment, including cleaning and routine contamination checks.
- Preparation of cell culture media and associated reagents.
- Performing routine in vitro assays, including assays involving radioactive compounds, in accordance with safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Handling and disposal of radioactive materials following internal guidelines and legal regulations.
- Performance of routine qPCR analysis.
- Isolation of primary cell lines.
Some assay workflows, particularly those involving radioactivity, are time-sensitive and may occasionally require flexibility in working hours to ensure optimal experimental outcomes. Training will be provided to ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations.
Qualifications
To succeed in this position, you should have at least 3 years of experience in cell culture, preferably with cancer cells and/or primary cells. Additionally, you should have:
- Education in laboratory technology, e.g., as a laboratory technician, bioanalyst, or similar.
- Experience working with radioactive materials or willingness to be trained in radiation work.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage.
- Meticulous attention to detail and aseptic technique.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
- Comfort in a fast-paced and service-oriented organization.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English; knowledge of Danish is advantageous.
